Mit Stand März 2009 hat er an etwa 140 Marathons und Ultras erfolgreich teilgenommen. Bestzeiten: Marathon in 03:06 Std. 50 km in 03:47 Std. 60 km in 04:46 Std. 100 km in 08:29 Std. und 24 Stundenlauf mit 217,450 km. DL2005, Spartathlon mit 30:39 Std. Transe Gaule 07 und Trans Swiss 08. Das Flair eines Europalaufes bekam er beim TE-FR 2003 zu spüren. Er lief eine Woche mit Werner Selch, Franz Häusler, Günter Böhnke und dem Etappenläufer Sebastian Schöberl. Der TE-FR 2009 kam ihm gerade recht, denn jetzt KEIN Etappenläufer mehr. Nun sollte es in die Vollen gehen! MIT INGO DURCH EUROPA – DIE ERFÜLLUNG JEDES LÄUFERLEBENS! (O- Ton)
